Our Mission
At Second Chance Project, our mission is to end Homelessness as we know it. We will achieve this by Changing the culture of how homeless people are treated and served by the Community. IT IS A FACT THAT 80% OF THE HOMELESS ARE ONLY RESIDENTUALLY CHALLENGED, WHILE 20% OF THE HOMELESS POPULATION FIT THE IMAGE OF TROUBLE MAKERS, ADDICTS, LOOTERS, ETC....
We are Christ centered and privately funded, therefore not bound by government regulations and red tape. We get the job done faster and better because we simply focus on solving the problem.
Our History
Second Chance Project was founded by Pastor Heath Britt on February 15th on 2024. This 501c3 Non -Profit Charity was founded for the purpose of common sense and stream-lined service for all the homeless communities with minimal waiting periods.
Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs designed to get faster results. We offer food, hotel accomodations ( extreme emergency), safe travel back home to family ( bus or train), resume building, job assistance, housing representation, fast access to the DMV and Social Security Administration, and NOBODY GETS LEFT BEHIND, NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE. We believe that Jesus did not pick and choose who to serve, he saved everybody!
Our Impact
Thanks to the support of our donors and volunteers, we have been able to make a significant impact in our communities. As of, November 18, 2024, We have helped over 310 families end their homelessness struggles, and Second Chance Project is on target to change the lives of 400 homeless families by the end of our first year!
